October 16, 2017 -- Rainy Days

Hello Friends and Family and Loved ones!

This week has been kind of slow. We have been trying to focus on finding new people to teach and working with less-active members in the Ward, but we haven't had much luck so far. We will continue to press forward though! We have faith that the Lord is preparing people to hear the message of His restored truths!

This past Tuesday was Zone Conference, which was really fun. I saw Sister Burnham again and she is basically my favorite, and I voluntarily got a flu shot, which I never ever thought I would do. I think it had a lot to do with my Mission President's wife asking me to. It was very spiritual as well, and we were able to make a few goals for how we can improve the work in the Fox Run Ward!

We did a lot of walking this week because biking is starting to get very tiring... (we have been doing it almost every day the past two months!) and we got caught in a sudden torrential Florida Storm. This happened on a day that both Sister Adams and I decided to wear our glasses, so neither one of us could see a thing! It was mildly terrifying and also really fun. We had just been talking about how we could use a breeze or something to cool us down from all the walking we had been doing and BAM the Lord sent us so much rain. Be careful what you ask for I suppose!! If this taught me nothing, it has certainly taught me that God is mindful of each one of us.

Besides that, though, nothing much has happened. I love being a Missionary, I love serving the Lord, and I am so glad to be able to spread His Gospel to all the world. Until next week!
